Lorrae Ward is an independent contractor whose experience includes project management, performance measurement, analysis and strategic planning. She is also a highly successful evaluative researcher. This experience has been gained through 10 years working in diverse environments and on a wide range of projects.

A highlight of her career has been working as the Associate Director: Research for Cognition. In this role she was functional manager for a team of up to seven analysts and responsible for a portfolio of projects of approximately $4,000,000 in value. She also led a number of key projects assuming full responsibility for all aspects of their delivery. Since then, Lorrae has been involved in a wide range of projects.

Lorrae's key strength is her versatility, her ability to quickly adapt to any context and to come "up to speed" in new areas. She believes in outcomes not outputs and in ensuring that the benefits of a project or programme are realised for all those involved. She balances pragmatism, structure and organisation with flexibility, adaptability and vision.

Qualifications include a PhD in educational reform. Lorrae has completed courses in Benefits Realisation and the Project Management Professional course.

Darren Ward has a Diploma of Sports Studies through Otago University and has been working in the sports and fitness field for over twenty five years. Having a strong involvement in the sport of Basketball, Darren represented NZ at the Under 20 Level, and achieved six National Titles, either as a player or a Coach. He served eight years as Director of Coaching for New Zealand Basketball.

Darren also spent a number of years working as a fitness instructor at the Unitec Campus, and later operated a private gymnasium in the Clarks Beach community.

He has extensive experience in Coach education, lecturing for various Sports Trusts and other organisations, as well as developing a number of coaching resources. He has worked alongside a variety of sports including Rugby, Soccer, Netball and Tennis, providing sport specific fitness and conditioning expertise.

Darren is now a Club Professional Tennis Coach, with International Accreditation (ITF Level 2). Currently most of Darren's work is centered around Tennis coaching, from beginners of all ages to touring with elite juniors. Work with Basketball, Strength and Conditioning, or other sport related services would be considered on an individual basis upon request.
